Just the FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) have become a staple of the
web. Putting FAQs on your web site can help educate your
customers, establish your expertise and bring more business
to you. Rich content, such as FAQs, can also help your ranking
in the search engines.

Start by listing the questions customers ask most often. Add
the questions they should ask, but don't think to. List the
questions in a logical order, then answer each question.
Include links to helpful resources on your site and elsewhere.

You may find that including FAQs on your web site increases
sales. They can also decrease time spent on customer service
while still keeping customer satisfaction high. If you keep
answering the same questions from customers again and again,
making the answers available 24/7 in a FAQ makes it easy and
fast for customers to get the information they need. Of course,
you still must be responsive to inquiries from customers, but
many will be happy with the answer they got from your FAQ and
won't have the need to contact you.

Make your FAQs easy to find by including links to them from
your home page or other heavily-visited pages. Make the FAQs
easy to navigate by including bookmarks and links back to the
top of the page.

FAQs are a resource to customers and increase the value of
your web site.
