Who's Got the Button?
Some people wear their hearts on their sleeves, but smart marketers wear their products on their lapels.
For under $5, you can get a button or badge made with your slogan, a provocative question, or a photo of your product.
An author may want a badge showing the cover of his book. You might want a button saying, 'Ask me about <your service>'
or a question that will raise interest (as well as raising eyebrows!) Wear your badge proudly and you encourage the
people you meet to ask for more information.
Make your button colorful and attractive. Photos and bright colors are great for getting attention. Ask the folks at
your favorite copy shop about getting buttons made. Then, wear your product near your heart! Of course, this is a
great tool for networking at business events and conventions, but the more you wear it the more attention you can get. You
never know who will be in line with you at the post office!
